If Muscle Shoals Music was gumbo, there's no doubt you'd find James LeBlanc stirring the pot! For the past decade, the Shreveport native has served up his style of reflective, soulful songs to audiences across the Southeast and concreted his place in the annals of Muscle Shoals music. LeBlanc's song, "Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde" catapulted Travis Tritt to the top of the charts. He co-wrote Gary Allen's single, "Learning How to Bend" and penned Jason Aldean's single, "Relentless." His tunes have been recorded by a buffet of country stars such as Rascal Flatts, Sara Evens, Joe Diffie, Clay Walker, Billy Ray Cyrus, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, Nashville Star winner, Angela Hacker, and many others. Like a good family recipe, LeBlanc's father (a Cajun musician) passed on a passion for music to his son beginning at the tender age of 7. By age 12, LeBlanc was adept at songs by the Eagles, Jackson Browne, CSNY, Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Neil Young, Merle Haggard and George Jones. Beginning with local bands, LeBlanc slowly cooked up an edgy style and finely honed his chops in Shreveport casinos and juke joints across the South. Basted with comparisons like, "he's a 21st Century version of Hank Williams, Sr.", LeBlanc maintains a quite, stealth-like charisma on the outside like an incredibly-talented, school-yard bully. But his lyrics reveals a sensitive, tender side juxtaposed with brave, bold reflections of lost love and bad decisions, all seamlessly woven throughout melodies reminiscent of classic Muscle Shoals. "James LeBlanc is the best all-around talent I have heard in fifteen years," said legendary producer Rick Hall, who owns the world-renowned Fame Studio in Muscle Shoals. "I'm not just talking about his songwriting. His singing is strong and his musicianship on guitar, drums and bass is beyond words." James LeBlanc's official arrival on the worldwide stage will coincide with long-awaited return of Fame Records. His new release, "I'm Here" will arrive at radio stations on April 3rd. "You name it and James can do it", said Hall. "Most of what you'll hear on this album is James. He is truly one-of-a-kind and destined to be a super-star." Whether it's an appetite for a good live show or just a hunger for a good CD, check out James LeBlanc! He's not just stirring the pot, he's stoking the fire!
